The Springvale Life Group meets once a month (Thursday evening) at a Church family home. We are a mix of age groups and backgrounds, sharing our lives in the grace and understanding of what God has done for us through HIs Son. Fellowship begins with a potluck dinner at 6pm, and is followed by study starting around 7pm. Newcomers are welcome.
In the pursuit of spiritual growth, we engage in the study of God's Word supported by a prayerfully considered choice of study books.
As brothers and sisters in Christ, we want to encourage and support each other with the same love we've received from Christ. We want our responses to life's challenges to be God-honoring according to the truth of Scripture.
"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the Head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." (Ephesians 4:15-16)
In 2023, we are studying the book "Courage - Fighting Fear with Fear" by Wayne Mack and Joshua Mack which has been
valuable for both individual growth and equipping those involved in counselling/teaching.
In 2024, we plan to start a new study called "Fundamentals of the Faith". With topics ranging from the character of God to Church participation; it is an ideal study for new Christians or believers returning to the basics of what it means to be a disciple
of Jesus Christ.
